जबकि वास्तव में वह भी आपकी दिशा की और ही जा रहा होता है.आपकी गति अधिक होने से एक दूसरे को क्रोस करने के समय आगे आने के बावजूद वह आपको पीछे यानि की उल्टा जाता दिखाई देता है. और जाहिर रूप से आप इस प्रभाव को उसी गाडी सवार ,या साईकिल सवार के साथ महसूस कर पाते है जो आपके नजदीक होता है,दूर के किसी वाहन के साथ आप इस क्रिया को महसूस नहीं कर सकते. ज्योतिष की भाषा में इसे कहा जायेगा की साईकिल सवार आपसे वक्री हो रहा है.यही ग्रहों का पृथ्वी से वक्री होना कहलाता है.सीधे अर्थों में समझें की वक्री ग्रह पृथ्वी से अधिक निकट हो जाता है.

सूर्य की रश्मियों के समीप आ जाने पर ग्रह अपनी स्वाभाविक गति को छोड़कर तीव्र गति से या अपेक्षाकृत धीमी गति से भ्रमण करने लगते हैं। ऐसा बुध के साथ अक्सर होता है। ग्रहों का इस प्रकार तीव्र गति से घूमने लगना उनका अतिचारी हो जाना कहलाता है।

What is Arudha Lagna (Ascendant) ?

Arudha pada is one of the very important concepts of Astrology, Arudha Lagna is also known as AL. Arudha means illusion (Maya). The maya which is associated with the native.

How to Calculate Arudha Pada or AL ?

  

Example 1 : Arudha Pada or AL is calculated from Ascendant. If lord of the Ascendant is placed in 5^th house (which means it is placed in 5^th sign from Ascendant), then we have to count five signs from 5^th house (count five sign from Leo and we get Sagittarius). Hence, Arudha Pada or AL is placed in Sagittarius sign.

Example 2 : Arudha Pada or AL is calculated from Ascendant. If lord of the Ascendant is placed in 3^rd house (which means it is placed in 3^rd sign from Ascendant), then we have to count three signs from 3^rd house (count three sign from Gemini and we get Leo). Hence, Arudha Pada or AL is placed in Leo sign.

Exception :

Arudha pada of a house cannot be in the 1st or 7th from the house. If the Arudha pada falls in the 1st or 7th from the house for which we are finding arudha pada, then the 10th house from what was found above becomes the Arudha pada (or Deduct 4 houses from the result).

OR (in other word)

If the Arudha Pada of house is in 1^st, 4^th, 7^th, or 10^th house, then 4 houses should be deducted from the result.

Exception Example 1 : Arudha Pada in 1st house.

Arudha Pada of A10 is placed in its own sign. Hence, deduct 4 houses from the result. Arudha Pada for A10 will be in Libra sign.

Exception Example 2 : Arudha Pada in 7th house.

- Arudh Pada of A4 is placed in 7th house from the 4th house. This is wrong calculation.

- As per exception rule : If Arudha Pada of A4 is placed in 7th house then deduct 4 houses from the result Sign. Here, result sign is Capricorn, therefore, deduct 4 signs from Capricorn sign and we will get correct Arudha pada of A4 in Libra sign, which is correct Arudha Pada of A4. Arudha pada of A4 in Capricorn sign is incorrect.

This exception rule applies If the Arudha Pada of house is in 1^st, 4^th, 7^th, or 10^th house, then 4 houses should be deducted from the result. 

In some astrological books following Rule is given for exception.
If the Arudha Pada of house is in 1^st, 4^th, 7^th, or 10^th house, then add 10 signs in to result sign.

This thing is noting else but the same. If you add 10 signs in above example [Exception Example 2 : Arudha Pada in 7th house.] You will get same result. 

- Arudh Pada of A4 is placed in 7th house from the 4th house. This is wrong calculation.

- As per exception rule : If Arudha Pada of A4 is placed in 7th house then add 10 signs in to the result Sign. Here, result sign is Capricorn, therefore, add 10 signs to Capricorn sign and we will get correct Arudha pada of A4 in Libra sign, which is correct Arudha Pada of A4. Arudha pada of A4 in Capricorn sign is incorrect.

 

Similarly, we can calculte the Arudha Pada for all the houses and these are called Dhana Pada (2nd), Bhratripada (3rd), Matri Pada (4th), Mantrapada (5th), Satrupada (6th), Dara Pada (7th), Roga pada (8th), Bhagyapada (9th), Rajyapada (10th), Labhapada (11th) and Upapada (12th).

How to calculate Drekkana ?

One third equal part of the Sign is called Drekkana. It means there are 3 Drekkana in each sign. There are total 36 Drekkana (12 signs x 3 = 36 Drekkana) in horoscope.

Lord of 1st Drekkana (0º to 10º) within each sign = Sign lord

Lord of 2nd Drekkana (10º to 20º) within each sign= 5th trine

Lord of 3rd Drekkana(20º to 30º) within each sign = 9th trine

Generally the first Drekkana of any sign is ruled by the owning planet, second Drekkana by the 5th lord and the third Drekkana by the 9th lord.

How to calculate 22nd Drekkana from Ascendant :
 
But if you want to calculate particular Drekkana then you have to calculate manually.
Here, if we have to calculate 22^nd Drekkana from Ascendant then it will be in Leo.

Ascendant is at 03º 17’ so it is in first Drekkana and for 22^nd  Drekkana will be at  22^nd Drekkana will be in Leo sign and lord of the 22^nd Drekkana will be Sun.

In this horoscope, Ascendant is at 03º 17’, it means it is in first Drekkana. 22^nd Drekkan will be the first Drekkana of the 8^th house, and therefore, First Drekkana of the 8^th house is in Leo sign and Lord of the 22^nd Drekkana is Sun.

If Ascendant is at 15º 10’, it means it is in Second Drekkana. 22^nd Drekkana will be the Second Drekkana of the 8^th house, Therefore, First Drekkana of the 8^th house is in Sagittarius sign and Lord of the 22^nd Drekkana is Jupiter.

Similarly, if we have to find 22^nd Drekkana from Moon, degree of Moon is 22º 58’ in Virgo sign in above mentioned horoscope. So Moon is in third Drekkana. 22^nd Drekkana will be the third Drekkana of the 8^th house from Moon. Aries sign is placed in 8^th house from Moon. Therefore, third Drekkana of Aries sign will be Sagittarius sign and Lord of the 22^nd Drekkana from Moon is Jupiter.

If any malefic planet will pass through 22^nd Drekkana from Ascendant and Moon, then person may face health related problems like fever, illness, come across accident, undergone surgery. These kinds of things may happen.
